Abstract Incinerators of municipal waste produce two major types of waste material. The fly ash represents a light microscopic fraction, which binds the majority of heavy metals from the bath. The bottom ash is a heavier, rough material with lower content of toxic elements. The produced volumes of bottom ash are nine times that of fly ash. Ash contains pollutants, therefore it represents environmental problem.
