Abstract
	In the recent years we can notice, especially with foreign customers, a demand for approving the capability of technological process by supliers.
	In this article we would like to point out that the way of finding „within specification limits“ solution to this type of problems, traditionally used by practicioners, is not suitable. Specification limits have been severely criticized by Taguchi and his followers. We explain the most important capability indexes and loss function for univariate and multivariate cases.
