Abstract Technical possibilities of noise reduction and techniques of its measurement in working environment are briefly described in this paper. Vibrational-acustic measurements provide objective physical evaluation of oscillations and noise, which make possible to determine, according to predefined criteria, if the conditions are acceptable for a worker. The aim of the experimental part was to evaluate measuring data from production hall of model tile factory and by the analysis of this data to determine the type and intensity of individual surces of noise and to suggest practicable technical solutions for these sources.
