DEVELOPMENT TENDENCIES OF METAL FORMING TO 21. CENTURY
Abstract
The knowledge in metallurgical technologies of metal forming is focusing to reduce of final grain size of structure on the level with nanometer dimension. Research is also concentrate to obtain of high-level mechanical properties and high-level plastical properties of materials too. Material properties are form not only by monophase structure, but also with dual phase, complex phase and residual austenite structures.
Progressive directions in mechanical technologies of metal forming will be SPD processes (severe plastic deformation) realize as HTP (high - pressure torsion) and ECAP (equal-channel angular pressing) processes on form ultra fine - grained structure.
In the future will be mathematical simulations very strong tools not only to researcher, but also for production technologists.
Teaching in metal forming brange must be build on implementation up-to-date knowledge which are prepare in systematic form. The base of teaching will be form scientific disciplines, numerical mathematic, algoritmisation, mathematisation and simulation of plastic deformations with application to production technologies.
The world globalisation of metallurgy will be form 20-30 gigantic metallurgical companies with year production capacity cca 40 million tons per one producer.
