Abstract
Decarburization reaction as one from possibility of hydrogen and nitrogen contents decrease in the steel. Knowledge of hydrgogen and nitrogen content decrease in steel by decarburization reaction. Termodynamic basis of hydrogen and nitrogen contents decrease by decarburization reaction. Description of technological parameter of decarburization reaction. Analysis of decarburization reaction influence on hydrogen and nitrogen contents in liquid steel. Influence of initial carbon content, quantity of carbon removing and velocity of decarburization reaction on hydrogen and nitrogen contents in steel. Specification of optimal decarburization reaction velocity and critical decarburization reaction velocity. Limit factors of decarburization reaction. Prediction of hydrogen and nitrogen contents in liquid steel by technological parameter of decarburization reaction for Electric Arc Furnace in Železiarne Podbrezová, a.s.
