MATERIALS FOR INJECTION MOULDING FORMS FOR PLASTICS PROCESSING
Abstract
The contribution deals with the brief analysis of situation in Slovak firms, in the production of forms for the working pieces made from plastics. It is aimed at the using of classic and new materials from the available offer in Slovakia. In the first part, the paper describes the using of concrete steels for each parts of form used for production of plastics. The steels are divided into 5 groups in the standard STN 42 0075, according to their utilization. The materials, which are mostly used according to type of parts of form are divided into seven groups. Each groups of materials are concrete described and also there is mentioned the way of utilization of concrete material. The second part describes the materials used abroad and new perspective materials for the production of forms. There is an example for specific requirements for the parts of form and there is also recommendation for using of convenient materials in some alternatives. The problem of domestic steels deals with the variation and sometimes in the lower metalurgical quality of supplied semi-products, therefore the foreign firms are more successful with higher quality of materials in the market. In the conclusion are mentioned examples of using of materials for concrete parts of forms for plastics.
