THE EVALUATION OF THE HARDNESS TESTER CALIBTATION QUALITY Abstract The aim of the article is evaluation the quality of Vickers hardness tester calibration (HV5, 10, 30, 50 and 100) by uncertainty and capability utilization. Methods according standards ISO 6507-2, DIN EN V 13 005 and tolerances analyze method, were used for calculation. According to maximal permissible error (or Urel) the tester is convenient to standard only for test force 50 kg and partly convenient for 100 kg. Using the threshold tolerance leads to overestimation of uncertainty, above all for higher test forces.
